C93200 Bearing Bronze (SAE 660)

C93200 SAE 660 bearing bronze datasheet with common names, chemical composition, mechanical properties, machinability, applications, and available bronze part forms.

What is C93200 (SAE 660) Bronze?

C93200 bearing bronze, commonly known as SAE 660, CDA 932, 660 cast bronze, or high leaded tin bronze, is the standard cast bronze alloy for general-purpose bearing and bushing applications. It combines good strength, excellent machinability, good wear resistance, and reliable anti-friction behavior under moderate loads and speeds.

Because C93200 contains lead, it machines cleanly and has good embeddability and conformability in bearing service. It is commonly specified for sleeve bushings, thrust washers, bearing plates, pump bushings, machine tool bearings, and replacement parts where dependable bronze performance matters more than maximum strength.
