Bronze Flat Plate

Bronze flat plate, flat bar, and rectangular stock for wear plates, guide strips, thrust surfaces, and custom machined parts.

Bronze flat plate stock for wear plates, guide plates, and machined components

Bronze flat plate is used for wear plates, guide strips, thrust surfaces, gibs, rectangular bushings, and custom machined components. It is the right stock form when the finished part is flat, wide, or non-round.

Common alloys include C93200 bearing bronze, C95400 aluminum bronze, and C86300 manganese bronze. Graphite plugging, machining, grinding, drilling, and tapping can be added when the plate is used as a bearing surface.

Manufacturing & Performance

Continuous cast bronze plate gives shops a stable starting blank for wear surfaces and machined rectangular components. When flatness, parallelism, or surface finish matters, the plate can be face-milled or ground after cutting.

For sliding service, alloy choice matters. C93200 is a general bearing bronze. C95400 adds strength and toughness. C86300 is often used for severe low-speed wear and high-load contact.
