C18200 Chromium Copper

C18200 chromium copper RWMA Class 2 datasheet with composition, conductivity, mechanical properties, machinability, fabrication notes, applications, and available forms.

What is C18200 Chromium Copper?

C18200 chromium copper is a precipitation-hardenable copper alloy that combines high electrical conductivity with better strength and softening resistance than pure copper. It is commonly known as CDA 182, chromium copper, or RWMA Class 2 copper.

C18200 is used where a component must conduct electricity or heat while carrying mechanical load, especially in resistance welding, electrical contacts, molds, and high-conductivity machined parts.
